(New) “CutFloorTease” Teaser Clip

(DISCLAIMER: This is a three minute edit of a longer track. This is just a brief taste of a longer DJ friendly track I am working on. The additional time edited out of this “teaser” may make some transitions seem a bit abrupt… My bad. I just wanted to offer up a glimpse at what’s in the ultrameek pipe!)

Hi folks, here is the latest track I am working on and as I mentioned before: I am having fun playing with samples (although I have still yet to master the wonderful EXS24mkII inside of Logic Pro). This is just a clip of a rough idea I am tinkering with.

One very noticeable sample in there and not sure what I want to do about it as of yet? We shall see…?

Began “Working” Again

w o r k i n g - - a g a i n - - 11/2009

Hi faithful folks! I was just stopping by (as I so infrequently do <—- makes pitiful face) to announce that I have begun working on music again.

I have developed a renewed interest in samples. Yep, I said it; the dreaded sample and it’s maniacal manipulation tool - The Sampler!

None-the-less, I am back into the machine and making sound collide once again… It has been a while. I should have something I might be posting in the next week or two (or knowing myself: In the next few days! Need to learn more patience.).

Thanks to all for keeping up with me and I hope to have begun another creativity binge so that I might post regular here for a couple months!

I do hope you found something among these handful of tracks that tickled your ears and soul. Instrumentals are the nature of the game as far as the “underscore” composition / production biz is concerned. This is not to say that I do not desire and very much hope to have vocals complimenting my music… In truth it is something I want to happen sooner than later. If anyone out there who has a voice in need of a melody to sing with….

This little A/V clip below is featured on another page here on my blog… But I thought I would re-post it here to put in front of some folks who may not have felt compelled to ever navigate beyond this first page!

The music was written and recorded sometime in 2006 and the drawings / paintings/ pics were created or collected over the last ten or more years. In 2006 I just happened to be introducing myself to Quicktime Pro editing and this was one of the results at that time.
