I do hope you found something among these handful of tracks that tickled your ears and soul. Instrumentals are the nature of the game as far as the “underscore” composition / production biz is concerned. This is not to say that I do not desire and very much hope to have vocals complimenting my music… In truth it is something I want to happen sooner than later. If anyone out there who has a voice in need of a melody to sing with….

This little A/V clip below is featured on another page here on my blog… But I thought I would re-post it here to put in front of some folks who may not have felt compelled to ever navigate beyond this first page!

The music was written and recorded sometime in 2006 and the drawings / paintings/ pics were created or collected over the last ten or more years. In 2006 I just happened to be introducing myself to Quicktime Pro editing and this was one of the results at that time.

Submission to TV/Film Music Supervisors

Well my submission to music supervisors for the upcoming television season is almost ready and it is not just one song dwelling among many other artists on a massive Production Music Library…

This time I will have my very own catalog / CD of songs being submitted by my publisher to music supervisors at several major studios. Over the last year I have managed to complete enough underscore tracks to compile a collection to be presented as “This artist who can score entire shows” rather than just one artist among many “Who could fill in the background music in this one part”.

As I mentioned in my previous post; I am not allowed to present any of the music my publisher has accepted due to sharing ownership of these accepted tracks. They just aren’t 100% mine to share… Yeah, as an artist I think that kind of sucks. As an adult music composer / producer, I think it’s OK by me. It’s part of the business of what I do.

I hope once the songs have been selected or rejected that I will be able to post them here. At the very least; If they are accepted I will make it a point to direct you to the location of where you can hear it!

I Am Going to Bandcamp

I have finally made a trip over to “Bandcamp” and I have to say that I am excited by what I saw. The timing could not be better as I have recently discovered that the last 2.5 years has been a learning experience (and not the establishment of my web presence as I had planned).

So I have found “Bandcamp” at a crucial stage in defining who and what ultrameek is. I am holding off on registering with “Bandcamp” until I have got a real LP or EP ready to go with all art, trademarks, copyright, liner notes, etc. etc. in order and actually complete!
